He wanted a cake. He wanted a chocolate cake. Sweets for Thought began as a late night craving from a self-proclaimed dessert connoisseur. Much too sophisticated for a box cake Emmanuel looked up the recipe for a cake and baked the best cake he ever tasted and never shared. Discovering that baking was not that difficult he began recreating fourth meal favorites for sweet toothers. Creating too much for one man to consume he passed out his creations to his floormates and friends at his dorm. These free samples went on and Emmanuel eventually started making individual sized desserts to hand out. One such friend and lucky giftee was branding master Autumn Washington. Immediately after tasting Autumn asked "Have you tried selling these?" Sweets for Thought opened up shop a month later in January 2013.
